Confessions of a Poor Money Manager

About

Ashley Clayton serves the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee as Associate Vice President for Stewardship and is responsible to Southern Baptists for leadership and oversight in the new national stewardship initiative, “It’s A New Day for Financial Freedom”.

Ashley has been a practitioner in local churches for many years and brings experience, knowledge, and a broad network of relationships to the Executive Committee. Ashley has served on church staff at Emmanuel Baptist in Enid, OK, Bellevue Baptist in Memphis, TN, FBC Snellville, GA and Two Rivers in Nashville, TN.

Prior to coming to the Executive Committee, Ashley was Director of Strategic Impact Cities for the North American Mission Board. Ashley is currently working with state conventions, associations, and churches to implement It’s A New Day” strategies, as well as identify quality resources, at affordable prices for individuals and churches.

Ashley says, “It’s A New Day” is about stewardship! It’s about the lordship of Christ over everything in our lives! It’s about getting out of debt! It’s about being ready to fulfill God’s calling upon our lives! Clearly, the first step in this national initiative is the area of personal money management and helping people get out of debt”.
